As he walked away, Stratus grabbed his arm, looking at him straight in the eye angrily. Medway returned the enraged stare, yanking himself out of the tall man's grip.
"You don't want to know me, Strat. Can't you see that? You'll just place yourself in danger from-"
"Do you think I care!?" The two men glared at each other. Suddenly, Medway bit his lip, turned away. Stratus watched his expression become more solemn, the eyes close. When they opened, the violet eyes were shiny with sadness, fixed upon the street at the end of the alley. Sympathy rushed over the other man, and he guided him over to the wall, leaning Medway against it.
"Sorry."
"Don't be Strat, it's my situation. You shouldn't want to be involved." They stood together for what seemd to be an eternity to Stratus, in silence, with him watching the street. He bent down a little, placed his hand under Medway's chin so that he faced him. Silently he placed his lips to his, a small, tender kiss. He pulled away and smiled shyly at the confused violet eyes.
"I-I love you, Meds." He placed a hand on his hip, and kissed him again. This time Medway responded, and they embraced in a moment of pure passion. Alone in that street, it was just them...
