Yup, typical Britishness has returned to the weather. Rain and coolness to the summer air has returned.
Luckily it held off on Sunday, Dar's 19th birthday, long enough for my brother to set off some fireworks at 9:30. Goddamn, they were noisy! The rockets, despite being 3 years old, echoed round the Downs for ages, disturbing many a household. Curiously, they smelt like eggy farts... O_o One of the fountain things tried to kill Ronnie, which was fun to watch. The bloody camp git screams like a girl! And the sunflowers, which were perilously close, survived to photosynthesise another day.
And we got to chat with my bro's new love interest, Tracey. I like her already, already proving herself to be genuine and more reliable than the Newcastle bint. Not that I'm biased or anything. Eh, good night overall, despite the neighbour coming down at about 1:30 am to complain to me, Max, Ronnie and Jon to keep it down. And the lads got soaked on the way home because the heavens finally opened. I lawl'd.
In Other News;~I've been doing a lot of sketching recently, practice it could be called. I blame boredom and lack of lost charger for my DS. Luckily the charger has been found and is in its proper place once again. (Buried under a pile of crap I can't be bothered to put away.)
~I met up with an old mate from school! Charlie is an awesome artist, and we were both 'merry' at the time, and we were talking about random crap. It was awesome talking about each other's inspiations; I've not met a RL artist in a while!
~Had a week off work. It was wicked, for once spending most of my time OUTSIDE a 3 mile limit of my front door. Alas, my first week back and that overtime ban was thrown out the window; 13 hours extra. XD
~Speaking of work, I burnt my hand. It FREAKIN' HUUUURT!!! Luckily 1) It was my left hand 2) Nan had some burn cream to put on it 3) it's healed in practically a few days, though I've got some
attractive red marks across my thumb and fingers.
~Oh, and I has a new game! Ninja Gaiden on the DS! I already love it, and have a 108-hit combo already!
